Affiliated Distributors has announced that the final 2015 results are in and American Polywater ranked as the 4th overall growth company in its A-D sales category. This is great news for Polywater, and is representative of the quality of the meetings held at the recent North American convention. Polywater is gaining ground with the A-D membership. Agents should focus on their A-D members so that Polywater can again top the A-D Leaderboard in 2016. An example of a rep doing a super job at the A-D meeting and following up afterward is JAG Electrical Sales, representing Polywater Products in Delaware, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Southern New Jersey. JAG's Fred Gutowski said that the meeting with Billows Electric Supply went particularly well: "... all the Billows people came out of your meeting saying that it was the best out of all they attended. They were very impressed…" While a few of the 19 Billows branches were already stocking some Polywater products, JAG leveraged the meetings as a way to promote and expand Polywater's presence. JAG visited all 19 branches, seeking local branch manager agreement and completing necessary paperwork to stock key items such as Grime-Away Wipes, FST Duct Sealant, Polywater LZ, Splice Shield, and Type HP. The A-D event spurred a true partnership. Wendy Peterson and Fred Gutowski later spent a day at the Billows field marketing summit, an event that allowed numerous one-on-one meetings with Billows branch personnel and generated activities such as counter days and counter displays. Billows made a commitment to Polywater this year and regional Manager Wade LeVander has dedicated a week to them in March for joint sales calls. With our one-on-one meetings at A-D and the NAED regional meetings we've made great strides in strengthening and growing our distribution. Fred has done an excellent job and we will do more business with Billows in 2016 because of his follow-up. One other good outcome was a comment from Billows' head of vendor relations, who thought Polywater's RepFiles app was "the neatest thing he has ever seen."
