A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #895

It's back! Last February we wrote about the big East Coast blizzards, described as "Snowmageddon" by hyperventilating meteorologists. Another round has just pounded the East Coast again this year, with reports of snowfalls of up to 42 inches in West Virginia! That's considered deep snow even in Minnesota.

But while the focus is in East, the potential for more storms is brewing in the West. An article in Solar Power World entitled Are Your Solar Projects Ready for El Nino Flooding? reminds us of what to expect. A bullet near the end of the article makes good reference material for sales of FST Foam Duct Sealant:
  • "Inspect conduit openings to ensure they are weather tight. In some applications, high-quality expanding foam or UV-resistant RTV can aid in filling gaps or addressing areas of concern."
The potential always exists for significant precipitation throughout much of the globe at one time or another, which ultimately leads to flooding and unwanted water intrusion, placing huge investments in electrical and communications equipment at risk. This includes blizzards, El Ninos, hurricanes, sharknados, and more.

The key sales strategy is explaining to customers that with its ability to hold 22 feet of water head pressure indefinitely, FST Foam should be an integral part of every storm-hardening action plan. The best plans are proactive. They involve measures that prevent service disruptions and expensive repairs to infrastructure. Make sure your customers safeguard their ducts with FST Foam Duct Sealant so they can rest easy when the next weather event strikes. The time to install FST is while the weather is good!

The Joke
I Have More Questions!   1) Why do banks charge a fee due to insufficient funds; when they already know you're broke? 2) Why is it that when someone tells you that there are one billion stars in the universe you believe them, but if they tell you there is wet paint you have to touch it to check? 3) Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard? 4) Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him? 5) Why did Kamikaze pilots wear helmets? 6) Whose cruel idea was it to put an "s" in the word "lisp"? 7) If people evolved from apes, why are there still apes? 8) Why is it that, no matter what color bubble bath you use, the bubbles are always white? 10) Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale? 11) Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized? 12) Why do people run over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it and then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance? 13) How do those dead bugs get into the enclosed light fixtures? 14) Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over? 15) Why, in winter, do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?
