A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #803

          Four quick news items:

  1. One reason Sharon Hindahl is so good at her job is her ability to turn lemons into lemonade. Case in point, we may or may not have short-shipped an order. When the distributor called for some customer service on the matter, Sharon used levity to defuse the situation, saying in her email: "The order must have slipped thru the cracks ... sorry for the slip-up." Then, in case her meaning was missed, she explained: "That's a little cable lubricant humor!" With Sharon greasing the skids, business always slides along much smoother, making your job easier.

  2. One lemon even Sharon couldn't salvage was Polywater Clear Silicone (cat #RTV-10). Its sales were sliding into oblivion. The product is discontinued effective immediately.

  3. On the positive side, a new package is born: MXR-20T-10. This is a 10-pack of extra mixing nozzles for the FST-MINI or SolidSeal Foams, in case those supplied with the kits prove insufficient in quantity.

  4. The changes described in #2 and #3 above are now reflected in our most recent electronic Distributor Price Schedule for 2014 (revision date 3-5-14). We did not feel these minor changes warranted a full-scale pricing broadcast, but know that if you want the latest file, it's available for the asking.

The Joke
20 More Fun Facts.   1 Hershey's Kisses are called that because the machine that makes them looks like it's kissing the conveyor belt. 2 The nursery rhyme "Ring Around the Rosie" is about the plague. Dead victims were burned to prevent the spread of disease ("... ashes, ashes, we all fall down!"). 3 Human conception occurs more often in December than any other month. 4 The only prime time TV show with no theme song: "60 Minutes". 5 Half of all Americans live within 50 miles of their birthplace. 6 The most popular private boat name is "Obsession." 7 If spelling out numbers, how far do you have to go to find the letter "A"?
