A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #762

Stu Varney and Tom Fredericks
Polywater's Electrical Division General Manager Tom Fredericks has served an 8-year stint on the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association's special manufacturers committee known as the NMG Group. He has variously served as Co-Chair, Chair, and is currently the Immediate Past Chair of the committee. While that distinction does not make him rich and famous, it does occasionally put him in contact with those who are. One case in point took place at the recent 43rd Annual NEMRA Conference in Chicago, Illinois (Tom also serves on the national meeting committee, deciding topics for the consistently growing NEMRA conferences).

Tom had the honor of introducing Stuart Varney, host of "Varney & Company", as guest speaker to the conference attendees. During his 15 seconds of fame Tom was quoted as saying, "Stuart Varney is one of the best-known business news journalists in the world and is credited with changing the way financial and economic news is reported worldwide. He anchors Varney & Company on the Fox Business Network and appears regularly with Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Megyn Kelly, among others. Educated at the London School of Economics, Varney has covered every major financial story of the last 30 years, including the stunning events that have unfolded in the last few years. Please join me in welcoming Stuart Varney."

Tom's involvement with the NMG Group has greatly benefited Polywater and its representatives. The NMG Group champions easier and better methods for reps and manufacturers to work together, examples of which are the promotion of the RepFiles marketing materials distribution system for mobile devices, the use of document imaging software, and better POS reporting. Polywater has adopted virtually every NMG Group recommendation and has been ranked among the top manufacturers by the NMG for its proactive, forwarding thinking ways. Thanks, Tom.
