Int'l Division GM Charles Cole shares the news that Alfredo Amieva Ibarra, owner of Lubaf S.A. de C.V. and long-time Polywater representative in Mexico, has secured an impressive 3rd-party laboratory analysis of PowerPatch Transformer Leak Repair Sealant that can help support sales efforts worldwide. Alfredo worked closely and exhaustively for years with CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad), the Mexican state-owned power utility, promoting the use of PowerPatch to maintain oil-filled transformers. Seeking to improve their transformer service life and reduce the environmental impact from leaking oil, CFE was sold on the PowerPatch concept after Alfredo's field trials, but final approval required an independent study of PowerPatch by LAPEM (CFE's laboratory).
