A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #748

A Canadian Pull-Planner order documents a solid regulatory argument for promoting the software and educating users on proper cable pulling practices and lubrication. When an engineer learned from Canadian Sales Manager Christine Otam that he could get the Pull-Planner for free in exchange for specifying Polywater lubricant, he immediately accepted, citing confidence in our products and a new clause in the Canadian Electrical Code, a copy of which he provided.

This Code Excerpt now mandates that tension calculations be done whenever tech cable (e.g. "armoured") is installed. Polywater's Pull-Planner 3000 helps ensure that Code Rule 12-602(6) is adhered to by displaying the following:
  1. Conduit fill, once the duct and cable data are entered in the program
  2. A flag indicating when maximum tension on the cable is exceeded
  3. A data summary including the cumulative amount of bend in an installation
The Pull-Planner does much more, of course. No spreadsheet or known custom program can make these claims. The Pull-Planner is used by thousands worldwide and is recognized for its accuracy and ease of use.

And Polywater lubricants are the world's best. No other manufacturer puts as much R&D into these critical field products. A premium lubricant is fundamentally important. It can improve cable network integrity by increasing the continuous length of cable installed, thus i) minimizing the number and cost of splices, ii) increasing the speed and efficiency of installation; and iii) reducing costs of labor, equipment and materials.

Asked how he learned of the Pull-Planner, the engineer said it was from an electrical inspector! Polywater's reputation for excellence is recognized throughout the industry and continues to pleasantly surprise us every day. Thanks to this diligent electrical inspector, Polywater has yet one more specifier and a new story to tell.

This story was Canadian ... but could happen in any country in the world. Specifying Polywater creates a snowball effect in lubricant sales, which translates into snowballing commission payments for you. Please spread the word!

The Joke
The Three Little Pigs. Three little pigs went out to dinner one night. The waiter came and took their drink order. "I would like a Sprite," said the first little piggy. "I would like a Coke," said the second little piggy. "I want beer, lots and lots of beer," said the third little piggy. The drinks were brought out and the waiter took their orders for dinner. "I want a nice big steak," said the first little piggy. "I would like the salad plate," said the second little piggy. "I want beer, lots and lots of beer," said the third little piggy. The meals were brought out and a while later the waiter approached the table and asked if the piggies would like any dessert. "I want a banana split," said the first little piggy. "I want a cheesecake," said the second little piggy. "I want beer, lots and lots of beer," exclaimed the third little piggy. "Pardon me for asking," said the waiter to the third little piggy, "But why have you only ordered beer all evening?" The third little piggy said, "Well, because somebody has to go 'Wee, wee, wee, all the way home!'"
