A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #743

Let's face it, many Polywater reps are intimidated by the complexity of the Pull-Planner software and tend to shy away from talking too much about it, not wanting to appear uninformed. This is a huge mistake. You do not need to be proficient with the software. You just need to convince engineers how much it can help them ... and you now have an incredibly effective tool to do just that: the Pull-Planner Webinar, mentioned last week.

The Pull-Planner™ Software Program may be the product that best embodies APC's market position as the technical leader in cable pulling lubrication. This computing marvel is the result of nearly forty years of experience and research. We developed it to assist our good customers, contribute to the industry, help specify our products, and showcase our expertise. It works! Absolutely nothing we have differentiates and reflects positively on us more than this program. Agents should be proud to represent it and eager to talk it up. We hope that through increased education via the webinar we can get the Pull-Planner mentioned in every sales call.

We hope, too, that you recognize the Pull-Planner's value as a sales tool, not just as a line item to sell. Realize that discounted software offers work like magic at helping close big contractor sales or engineering specifications--or cementing relations at utilities, communications companies, and even distributors. Don't be shy about contacting APC for special-priced (or even free!) copies.

Next week we'll talk more about why the ultimate goal of mentioning the Pull-Planner and pushing the free webinar isn't really to sell more software, although paid orders are always welcome.

The Joke
The School Teacher. A school teacher injured his back and had to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body. He wore it under his shirt and it was not noticeable at all. On the first day of the term, still with the cast under his shirt, he found himself assigned to the toughest class in the school. Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window as wide as possible and then busied himself with desk work. The classroom became a bit unruly and he admonished them. This happened several times. While working at his desk, the strong breeze from the window made his tie flap annoyingly. He kept rearranging and rearranging the tie as the class become more and more unmanageable. Finally, becoming disgusted with the wayward tie, he stood up and took a big stapler off his desk and stapled the tie to his chest in several places. Discipline was not a problem from that day forth.
