A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #740

The Polywater LZ Flyer has been updated with a great new look--and we have three messages to share as a result:

1) Polywater LZ is our new flagship spec-grade "super lube," formulated for universal compatibility and containing the best technology and performance properties that nearly 40 years of cable lube development can yield. Polywater J will continue to sell well for many years, but isn't the best choice for some recent cable innovations (e.g., LSZH, CPE, CSPE). LZ does everything J can do, and more. Read and become familiar with the sales bullets. You should feel very confident upselling to this product.

2) This LZ flyer is among the first to feature a new footer format: "Adhesives | Cleaners | Lubricants | Sealants." This emphasizes Polywater's broader product offerings and highlights a category in bold text to simulate a menu or tab selection, in this case, lubricants.

3) Understand the difference between the flyer above and the Polywater LZ Online Support Page. Flyers are generally more attractive PDFs, which are better for printing, visual presentation, leaving with clients, and delivering a short synopsis. Their online HTML versions are what we term "support pages." They may be clumsy for printing, but offer links to useful resources: videos, testimonials, approvals, lab reports, instructions, specs, MSDS, articles, RFQs, translations, etc. Be aware of each type's uses and limitations.

The Joke
Doctors, Lawyers and Artists.   1) A doctor and a lawyer were talking at a party. However, their conversation was constantly interrupted by people describing their ailments and asking the doctor for free medical advice. After an hour of this, the exasperated doctor asked the lawyer, "What do you do to stop people from asking you for legal advice when you're out of the office?" "I give it to them," replied the lawyer, "and then I send them a bill." The doctor was shocked, but agreed to give it a try. The next day, still feeling slightly guilty, the doctor prepared the bills. When he went to place them in his mailbox, he found a bill from the lawyer. 2) An artist asked the gallery owner if there had been any interest in his paintings on display at that time. "I have good news and bad news," the owner replied. "The good news is that a gentleman enquired about your work and wondered if it would appreciate in value after your death. When I told him it would, he bought all fifteen of your paintings." The artist exclaimed, "That's wonderful! What's the bad news?" The owner said, "The guy was your doctor."
