A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #721

The Polywater laboratory is producing a series of training videos helpful to representatives in selling or instructing customers on the use of certain products. The first release is the UPR Pole Repair Installation Video. The 5-minute video shows how Polywater UPR is applied to permanently fill and repair a typical utility pole hole caused by woodpeckers. Such holes are often the size of a football. Note that the hole shown in the video is a real pileated woodpecker hole. A local utility cut the pole and donated the damaged section to Polywater for the video.

UPR kits contain treated wood blocks (used to reduce the volume--and cost--of UPR foam needed to fill the cavity), shrink wrap (to cover the hole and contain the UPR foam as it expands), gloves, instructions, and UPR Foam cartridges. Application tools (cat #TOOL-250), duct putty (used to seal off wood cracks that would allow UPR foam to leak out before expanding), and utility knives are purchased separately.

These laboratory videos are not of professional studio quality. They're homemade. No actors were harmed in the making of these movies; none were hired. There is also no fancy music, lighting, or scripted voice-overs. This allows us to produce and deploy the videos rapidly. Their purpose is to share content you can use to boost sales and customer satisfaction ... and to do so this year, not next year (professional videos take time).

Next week we'll introduce another video on an alternate application method for FST Foam Duct Sealant. The lab is working on more videos this summer. Stay tuned.
