Friday Fax
A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #640

Polywater has created three Twitter accounts for our C&I reps, utility reps, and end users/distributors.
In the old days, when we heard that someone was getting "tweety" we simply assumed that Sylvester the cat was at it again. In the modern age, however, it's Tom Fredericks in Polywater's Electrical Division who's getting tweety: Tom is all atwitter about Twitter. On Twitter one tweets. To tweet on Twitter is to talk in text. Tom's tweety text talk on Twitter will be on timely topics. He'll teach and tell tips and attach photos to help you attain the top. Talented and intelligent electrical reps will try to become one of Tom's Twitter tweetees. It takes only two ticks of time. Says Tom:

"We created three Twitter accounts for our C&I reps, utility reps, and end users/distributors. If you already have a Twitter account please use the Search People function and sign up to follow polywaterc (contractor industrial reps only), or polywateru (utility reps only), and polywatere (end users and distributors) for market specific updates. To set up a new account just follow the fast and easy directions: http://support.twitter.com/articles/219437. Then sign up for polywatere and either polywaterc or polywateru once the Finding Friends option comes up.

"The polywaterc and polywateru rep accounts are private and locked for obvious reasons. You'll send us a request and we'll sign you up. The polywatere account is public with immediate enrollment. You'll definitely want our tweets sent to your phone, so check that option next to our name
(the tiny phone next to a small green circle with arrows in it) once you're approved. If you don't, you'll have to log onto your Twitter account to see our messages--just extra hassle for you.

"It's surprising how many market players are already on Twitter
(NAED, IBEW, NEMRA, OKDOT, Dominion, etc.) and how much information is provided using this social network. Don't worry about spam from us. The plan is to send sales tips and new product installation photos you can show customers right from your phone to help sell our products. There's nothing to download. Messages must be less than 140 characters, so they're always short! Imagine the power of pertinent information sent to your phone for instantaneous use."

Sign up now to release your inner Tweety.

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
Final Words to Live By.   1) Mark Twain: Suppose you were an idiot ... And suppose you were a member of Congress ... But I repeat myself. 2) A. Whitney Brown: Our bombs are smarter than the average high school student. At least they can find Kuwait. 3) Robin Williams: Ah, yes, divorce ... from the Latin word meaning to rip out a man's genitals through his wallet. 4) Dave Barry: You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, "My God, you're right! I never would've thought of that!" 5) George Carlin: If you can't beat them, arrange to have them beaten. 6) Author Unknown: When I die, I want to die like my grandmother who died peacefully in her sleep ... not screaming like all the passengers in her car. 7) Author Unknown: Advice for the day: If you have a lot of tension and you get a headache, do what it says on the aspirin bottle: "Take two aspirin" and "Keep away from children." 1) Drew Carey: Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that. It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.
