One of the many potential uses for FST Foam Duct Sealant is on rooftop solar projects. There are numerous ways to set up solar power systems, but the basic idea is to have multiple solar panels arrayed on a roof with output wires running to an electrical distribution box known as a "combiner box" where the DC circuit breakers are placed. The combiner box combines the multiple DC inputs coming from the panel terminations and converts these into one DC output to the charge controller or the inverter, depending on the type of system installed, and ultimately to batteries or the grid. Often there is a conduit used to collect these various wires and feed them into the combiner. This is the most vulnerable place for water to get into the system and cause problems. It's an ideal location for an FST seal. And that makes solar projects an excellent topic to discuss with customers. Will their system include a conduit? How will they seal that conduit to prevent the ingress of water and other malefactors? The correct answer is with FST Foam. Work with them until they get it right. |

Polywater has numerous field reports on the successful application of PowerPatch Transformer Repair Sealant, including this one from EDF Energy Contracting in the UK: "The instructions and examples on the internet show the kit being used on small holes in the tank, but this leak was coming from a seal on the drain valve. This, however, did not cause any problems; the kit was easily applied following the supplied instructions and everything needed was found in the kit. We were impressed with how easy it was to apply and how quickly the process was over. From the outset it looked quite effective, the seal looked good and the drain valve remained operable. The PowerPatch Kit has now been in use for 10 weeks and so far there has not been a trace of oil from the leak. This has solved both of the issues highlighted before and has given us another option when we discover oil leaks other than the need for intrusive maintenance." Nothing helps you sell this innovative product more than the words and images of satisfied customers. You can find the full EDF testimonial and six others on our PowerPatch Field Reports page. |

Misunderstanding God's Message. A 54 year old woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?" God said, "No, you have another forty-three years, two months and eight days to live." Upon recovery, the woman decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, liposuction, breast implants, and a tummy tuck. She even had someone come in and change her hair color and brighten her teeth. Since she had so much more time to live, she figured she might as well make the most of it. After her last operation, she was released from the hospital. While crossing the street on her way home, she was killed by an ambulance. Arriving in front of God, she demanded, "I thought you said I had another forty-three years? Why didn't you pull me from out of the path of the ambulance?" God replied: "I didn't recognize you." |
