NEMRA Notice
Now that we have your attention ... Tom Fredericks would like his electrical market representatives to know that Polywater will attend the NEMRA 40th Annual Conference on February 16-20, 2010 in New York City.   All reps are encouraged to attend our group meeting to be held on Thursday, February 18 at 10:45 a.m. (room to be announced later).   We'll be introducing new products, new counter merchandising, and new incentive programs.   We're not requesting one-on-one sessions at this meeting, but if you would like to meet with Tom Fredericks, please contact him ASAP at freddy@polywater.com or 651-430-2270 ext. 804 to arrange an individual meeting.   This should be an exciting NEMRA meeting with Ken Hooper and Kelly Boyd running the show.   These two men have fresh ideas and have re-energized the NEMRA meeting with a new format and plenty of seminars that will benefit you and your company.   Please RSVP to Tom Fredericks on your attendance ASAP.

New distributor price schedule effective January 1, 2010.
It's that time of year again: a new Distributor Price Schedule was issued with an effective date of January 1, 2010.   All Polywater reps were included in the emailed announcement, but we're notifying you again here in case you missed it.   Click here to download the Excel Price File or the PDF Price File.   A Letter of Explanation is also available.   Be aware that we were forced to put the cart before the horse by including pricing on new products that have not yet been formally introduced.   These include PowerPatch Pad n Pole Repair, Pflubber Duct Block, and a nifty new FST Foam dispenser cartridge that fits standard caulking guns.   Marketing literature and formal introductions are imminent, but today the web links referenced in the price sheet are "under construction."   This is imperfect, but it made even less sense to issue the new price sheet without the latest products.   The price sheet also includes the handy web links in the Excel version of the file that were first introduced last year.   By scrolling right to columns R through W, buyers can view images, brochures, specs, and MSDS sheets with a simple click when they're looking up prices.   This feature has been very well received.

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
More Short, Stupid Jokes.   1) What do you need to split an atom?   A fission license.   2) Did you hear about the new restaurant that opened in India?   It's a New Delhicatessen.   3) Why did the turtle cross the road?   To get to the Shell station.   4) How does a spoiled rich girl change a light bulb?   She says, "Daddy, I want a new apartment."   5) What is the last thing a "Tickle Me Elmo" doll gets at the factory?   Two test tickles.   6) How many computer programmers does it take to change a light bulb?   Are you kidding?   That's a hardware problem!   7) What goes faster than a rabbit in a field?   A rabbit in a blender.   8) Why did Robin Hood rob only the rich?   Because the poor had no money.
