APC hires new sealant and adhesive chemist.
Tom Peters
According to renowned author and quality guru Tom Peters, "success in business comes from surviving long enough to get lucky."   APC may have just done that.   We're lucky enough to have just hired a new sealant and adhesive chemist.   Mark Hull, who started work this week, has extensive scientific training and experience in this field.   It is hoped that Mark will be able to contribute new products and help diversify our burgeoning line of Sealant Products, an area that has seen rapid sales growth in recent years.   Success also demands that we chase appropriate new product ideas.   Agents can always assist in that regard by helping identify product needs in the market.   In the near term APC will have strong interest in field problems that beg for a sealant- or adhesive-based solution.   Please keep APC in mind.

APC earns another great endorsement for its popular Pull-Planner™ 3000 Software.
APC earns another great endorsement for its popular Pull-Planner 3000 Software.   Marne & Associates sells training materials and services to keep electrical and telcom workers abreast of the National Electrical Safety Code.   They bill themselves as "Experts in the Electrical Code."   In their most recent newsletter, Marne & Associates promote the release of the new Pull-Planner 3000 version and remind their readers of the benefits of using software to plan pulls, which includes "... ensuring installation tensions that won't damage cable".   As they point out, NESC Rule 341A2 states that pulling tensions and sidewall pressures on supply cables should be limited to avoid damage.   The Pull-Planner saves time, money, and helps keeps things legal too!
