A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #533

New Pull-Planner™ 3000 now shipping.
The long-awaited Pull-Planner 3000 version is now shipping.   Having successfully wended its way through the beta-test gauntlet, this much-anticipated software upgrade is now ready for primetime.   There will be much fanfare and strategerizing ahead.   For now, however, the important facts to know are that:   1) The 3000 replaces the 2000.   2) The new catalog number is PP-3000.   3) To save the planet, the program will be available by download only, no CDs.   4) The suggested retail price is $129, or $59 for registered user upgrade.   5) Those who purchased within the last 6 months get a free upgrade.   Those who received free copies will need to pay for the new version or "rejustify their worthiness."   The Pull-Planner has been one of the key reasons for Polywater's success.   There will much more about how this upgrade can continue that tradition in future issues.   In the meantime, feel free to click the link and read through the flyer.

Another success story for Polywater® J and the Pull-Planner™ Software.
Agencies take on new lines with a certain amount of trepidation, wondering what they're really getting themselves into.   So it was nice to hear about the experience of Bob Taylor of Empire Electric Sales--APC's newish rep in SoCal.   Bob writes: "At the end of an open house yesterday at Walters - Corona branch, a contractor came up and told me about pulls he had been involved with while working for Morrow Meadows.   They had used our Pull-Planner software to determine if they could make the pulls using Polywater J.   One involved fourteen 90-degree bends--far from an allowable code pull, but one they were able to make with Polywater J.   He said they used a tension gauge to make sure they didn't exceed cable tensile strength, and it went smoothly.   The second was a 987-foot pull with a 150-foot rise in the middle.   He has started his own business and is a confirmed "J" user.   I have his card if you would like to get the story on these pulls."   Come on in, Bob, the (poly)water's fine.

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
More Motivational Poster Truth.   Mediocrity: It takes a lot less time and most people won't notice the difference until it's too late anyway.   Procrastination: Hard work occasionally pays off after time, but laziness always pays off now.   Trouble: Luck can't last a lifetime unless you die young.   Failure: When your best just isn't good enough.   Agony: Not all pain is gain.   Patriotism: Made in the USA ... by robots.   Consistency: Don't ever change.   I always want to be better than you.   Justice: I demand justice, but if there must be injustice, let it be in my favor.   Courage: Fear not.   I'm right behind you ... using you as a shield.   Expectations: I expected times like this, but I never thought they'd be so bad, so long, and so frequent.  Reflection: The time for action is over.   Now is the time for senseless bickering.   Serenity: Please remain calm.   There's no use both of us being hysterical at the same time.
