Occasionally reps respond to the Friday Fax--sometimes even favorably. No issue in the 10-year history, however, ever generated more feedback (all positive!) than the recent Political Issue. A frequent question we hear is whether it's appropriate to share the Friday Fax with customers. Answer: probably. Keep in mind that the Fax is written specifically to you, a manufacturers rep. Topics include discussion of pricing, promotions, and strategies to sell distributors or end users, which could conceivably offend delicate sensibilities, though the light-hearted humor and insight not found in flyers or spec sheets might aid your effort on a particular product. Use your own judgment after perusing a particular issue and considering the potential recipient. To share issues, you have options. One is to simply forward your emailed issue to others. Another is to invite them to the back issues menu linked below. We can also carve out one particular article of interest and create a special edition for you to share. For the truly devout, notify us and we'll simply add their email address to the weekly mailing. Please make sure they know it's coming so we're not spamming. As for the political issue, it's now elevated to webpage status, available to all visitors at: www.polywater.com/VotePolywater.asp ... whether they can handle it or not. |
