Polywater® LZ has found another friend. Thanks in part to the good work of agent Eric Cashdan of Gumersell Cashdan on the East Side Access Project for the Long Island Railroad, APC was able to secure another valuable Cable Manufacturer Approval for this exclusive specification-grade pulling lube. Recall that LZ is the only known commercially available lubricant specifically formulated, tested, and approved for use on today's low smoke cable jackets. Here's what John Cancelosi, Manager Application Engineering for The Okonite Company, says: "We have tested the Polywater LZ lubricant on Okolon and Okoclear-TS to the IEEE 1210-2004 'IEEE Standard Tests for Determining Compatibility of Cable Pulling Lubricants with Wire and Cable' test protocol. Testing demonstrated compliance with the IEEE standard. Based on these tests, Polywater LZ is suitable for use on these jackets." This selling resource was linked at the bottom of the online product flyer, where other testimonials and technical support can be found. |

APC chooses to market Polywater SPY Lube primarily as a unique sprayable liquid that's easy and convenient to apply, offering superior friction reduction. This is instead of promoting it as a low-cost choice. But economy can be a secondary strategy. After a quick peek at the current price schedule, you (and your customers) may wonder what we've been smoking to make us say that. After all, best-column distributor price for a Polywater SPY quart is $7.12, compared to a Polywater J quart at $4.92. Ahh, but SPY comes with a reusable sprayer. When refilled by gallons or pails, the average lube cost drops dramatically over time. The real cost effectiveness of SPY, however, is based on thin-film and dry-pulling technology. This nano-tech-like science allows up to 75% less lubricant to be used--it's that effective! The cost-effectiveness approach is a more complex sale. Customers may balk at the refilling option or be dubious of how realistically usage can be reduced in the field. But this is a powerful response to prospects interested in SPY's convenience and performance but hesitant to buy based on price. The same principle applies to Polywater FTTx in the communications arena. |

More Motivational Poster Truth. Leaders: Leaders are like eagles; we don't have either of them here. Laziness: Success is a journey, not a destination, so stop running. Individuality: Always remember that you are unique ... just like everybody else. Blame: The secret to success is knowing who to blame for your failures. Pessimism: Every dark cloud has a silver lining, but lightning kills hundreds of people every year who are trying to find it. Delusions: There's no greater joy than soaring high on the wings of your dreams, except maybe watching a dreamer who has nowhere to land but in the ocean of reality. Madness: Madness does not always howl; sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "Hey, is there room in your head for one more?" Nepotism: We promote family values here ... almost as often as we promote family members. Disservice: It takes months to find a customer, but only seconds to lose one. The good news is that we should run out of them in no time. Humiliation: The harder you try, the dumber you look. |
