A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #517

New Technical Data Sheet for Polywater® NN.
We have another one of those wonderful new Technical Data Sheets now available for your use.   This time it's on Polywater® Plus Silicone NN.   Recall that these comprehensive data sheets list a general description of the product; physical, performance, and application properties; cable compatibility; friction testing; recommended uses; directions for use; ordering information; a model specification; and more.   This particular data sheet also emphasizes APC's research results showing that Polywater Plus Silicone Type NN is the best choice going for pulling cable through water-filled conduit.   Reference to superiority in pulling through water should be part of every sales pitch you make on Type NN.   This new technical data sheet is the right tool to help you close the deal.

New BonDuit® application instruction video available.
Exciting Video
And speaking of sales tools, we have an exciting new video available.   The 6-minute BonDuit Application Instructions Video is a table-top demonstration of how to prepare polyethylene conduit and PVC couplers and apply BonDuit for excellent connections.   Note that this is not a studio production.   It was produced in APC's laboratory with a hand-held videocam.   Wade LeVander offers some exciting introductory narration, while product development guru Ron Raedeke performs the application and describes the process.   The idea is to have a tool available for you to "demo" the product at a prospect's desk (or have them click a link to it themselves) when you don't actually have the materials handy yourself, or a trip to the field is impractical.   You supply the popcorn.

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
Preventative Medicine.   Miss Beatrice, the church organist, was in her eighties and had never been married.   She was admired for her sweetness and her kindnesses to all.   One afternoon, the pastor came to call on her, and she showed him into her quaint sitting room.   She invited him to have a seat while she prepared tea.   As he sat facing her old Hammond organ, the young pastor noticed a cut-glass bowl sitting on top of it.   The bowl was filled with water, and a condom floated in the water.   When Miss Beatrice returned with tea and scones, they began to chat.   The pastor tried to stifle his curiosity about the bowl of water and its strange floater; but soon, curiosity got the better of him.   He couldn't resist saying, "Miss Beatrice, I wonder if you would tell me about this," as he pointed to the bowl.   "Oh, yes," she replied, "Isn't it wonderful?   I was walking through the park a few months ago, when I found this little package on the ground.   The directions said to place it on the organ and keep it wet.   It said it would prevent the spread of disease.   And do you know what?   I haven't had the flu all winter!"
