A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #480

Proper priming procedures for BonDuit® cartridges.
Priming BonDuit® Cartridges
APC has updated the BonDuit Application Instructions to include more detail on proper priming.   Priming is critically important before performing BonDuit demos or making bonds.   After placing a cartridge in the dispensing tool and removing the cap, squeeze the handle to dispense a small amount of product (to be discarded) until both white and black resins are coming out.   Then attach the mixing nozzle.   The nozzle is much more than a pin-point applicator; it's an in-line mixer.   The 2-part BonDuit must flow through the nozzle to initiate the curing process.   Squeeze the tool handle one or two more times until the product exiting the nozzle is a uniform gray mixture of the two resin parts.   The first few squirts can't guarantee equal mixing, and must be discarded.   Now the cartridge and nozzle are primed for use.   Remember to prime each and every nozzle.   Adding a new nozzle to a previously used cartridge requires more priming.   The consequence of not performing proper priming procedures is failed and embarrassing demos, and dissatisfied customers.

Rich Ellis of Powertech in New England is the leading individual seller of RBG Rubber Goods Cleaner in the world.
Rich Ellis?
Kudos go out this week to a long-time Polywater® sales superstar.   Following an exhaustive study of sales data it was determined that Rich Ellis of Powertech Associates (APC's New England utility agent) is the leading individual seller of RBG Rubber Goods Cleaner in the entire world.   Wow!   Rich has successfully avoided the paparazzi we hired, so unfortunately no picture of him is available.   However, word has it from those who know him best that he bears a striking resemblance to Grandpa Munster ... at least on top.   Whatever Rich looks like, we offer our thanks and a big congratulations on his success.   Keep up the good work!

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
Still More Idiots.   1) Employees were gathered at a good-bye luncheon for an old and dear coworker.   She was leaving the company due to "downsizing."   The office manager commented cheerfully, "This is fun.   We should do this more often."   Not another word was spoken.   Everyone just looked at each other with that deer-in-the-headlights stare.   2) A woman reports that she worked with an individual who plugged her power strip back into itself and for the sake of her, couldn't understand why her system would not turn on.   3) When a man arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up his car, he was told the keys had been locked in it.   He went to the service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the driver's side door.   As the customer watched from the passenger side, he instinctively tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked.   "Hey," he announced to the technician, "It's open!"   The tech replied, "I know.   I already got that side."
