A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #466

Market planning meetings commence the week of August 27, 2007.
Polywater Market Planning Meetings
APC begins its "Market Planning" one week from Monday.   This week-long series of day-long meetings is an annual event intended to create the successful sales strategies and promotional campaigns you've come to expect from APC.   APC's sales, marketing, R&D, and management personnel are sequestered in a dark and dingy conference room for days on end with but coffee and high-fat lunches for sustenance.   They immerse themselves solely in the question of what actions are needed to increase sales in the coming year.   Bathroom breaks are severely limited to heighten the sense of urgency.   There's nothing like a week of stale air and forced inactivity to stimulate the creative juices in ADHD salespeople.   The August 27th start date gives you one week to prepare for limited access to your favorite Polywater account executive or customer service person (since he/she will be difficult to reach) and to consider ways you can influence APC's marketing activities in the coming year.   How, you ask?   By sending in your ideas for new products, promotions, and other sales strategies.   It's like you're participating in the brainstorming and team building--without the restless leg syndrome.

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
More Kids' Sunday School Test Answers.   1) David was a Hebrew king who was skilled at playing the liar.   He fought the Finklesteins, a race of people who lived in Biblical times.   2) Soloman, one of David's sons, had 300 wives and 700 porcupines.   3) When Mary heard she was the mother of Jesus, she sang the Magna Carta.   4) When the three wise guys from the east side arrived, they found Jesus in the manager.   5) Jesus was born because Mary had an immaculate contraption.   6) St. John the Blacksmith dumped water on his head.   7) Jesus enunciated the golden rule, which says to do unto others before they do one to you.   He also explained a man doth not live by sweat alone.   8)   It was a miracle when Jesus rose from the dead and managed to get the tombstone off the entrance.   9) The people who followed the Lord were called the 12 Decibels.   10) The epistles were the wives of the apostles.   11) One of the oppossums was St. Matthew who was also a taximan.   12) St. Paul cavorted to Christianity.   He preached holy acrimony, which is another name for marriage.   13) Christians have only one spouse.   This is called monotony.
