Important sales tip for C&I reps selling new Polywater SP Spray Lubricant : it is incumbent upon you to ensure that distributors that have purchased a quantity of SP Lubricant attach the spray triggers to at least some of the bottles for display on the shelf. New SP Lube is different, but most potential customers won't have heard of it. If all they see is another quart bottle with the standard cap attached, we lose the "hey-here's-something-new" impact. Bottles with mounted spray triggers will stand out and scream to be ogled, discussed, and purchased. You should check the shelves for this on your visits. Why? Because SP quart bottles are induction sealed and shipped with a standard, flat cap to prevent damage and leaking; trigger sprayers are enclosed separately in the box. Distributors may not think to set up a few bottles without your brilliant merchandising advice. APC also has laminated POP displays available for the counter area. Call the factory to requisition them. |
