A Weekly Summary of Polywater® News of Incredible Importance
Issue #405

The Pull-O-Rama Demo Unit for New Polywater® SP Spray Lubricant.
The "Pull-O-Rama" Demo Unit
One reason new Polywater® SP Spray Lubricant has so impressed prospects thus far is a unique table-top demonstration unit called the "Pull-O-Rama."   A 4-minute streaming video clip of the demo in use is now available online for you and your customers.   We urge to you to watch it.   APC is producing demo units as fast as possible for use at trade shows, agency sales calls, and distributor events.   As an added attention-getter we recommend you mount the unit on your head with a chin strap.   But hey, why wait for the bulky unit to arrive; fire up this convenient video as a "virtual demo" wherever you go!   Just click on the "Videos" tab at the top of any polywater.com webpage for access.   Why is the demo unit so-named?   Because after two hours of hair pulling and pencil throwing, APC's twenty Sales & Marketing Committee members voted for "Pull-O-Rama" over "Lolla-Pull-Ooza" (S&M members earn every penny they're paid).   Now that the demo-naming controversy is settled we can say, "Let's go on a Pull-O-Rampage!"

Juice! Newsletter Issue #13.
Polywater® SP Spray Lubricant was introduced last week to electrical distributors via the Juice! Newsletter as a solution to this problem: "Wire and cable pulling lubricant has long been viewed as an unpleasant necessity in electrical installations.   Slimy consistency is a turn-off for hand application.   Thick, yellow lubricants are difficult to spread throughout a conduit and can stain clothes, carpets, and walls during inside work.   Thin lubricants are messy for anything but straight, horizontal runs.   Dried lubricant residues with high percent solids can cement in cables and/or cause compatibility or combustibility concerns.   Manufacturers' friction reduction claims are too often unsubstantiated and overstated.   The market is replete with pumps, spreaders, and other application devices too expensive and cumbersome for efficient use.   The industry needs a specialty lubricant with modern application methods specifically tailored for electrical installations."   Heads up; the issue offers a 10% discount on initial orders of product (applies only to the Polywater SP portion of a mixed-product order).

The Friday Fax Editor's Joke of the Week
The Joke
Joke of the Week:   George Carlin Rules:   1) Stop with the pop-up ads for Classmates.com!   There's a reason you don't talk to people for 25 years--you don't particularly like them!   Besides, I already know what the captain of the football team is doing now: mowing my lawn.   2) Don't eat anything served to you out a window unless you're a seagull.   People act all shocked that a human finger was found in a bowl of Wendy's chili.   Hey, it cost less than a dollar, what did you expect?   Trout?   3) Stop saying that teenage boys who have sex with their hot, blonde teachers are permanently damaged.   I have a better description for these kids: lucky.   4) If you need to shave and you still collect baseball cards, you're a dope.   If you're a kid, the cards are keepsakes of your idols.   If you're a grown man, they're pictures of men.   5) Ladies, leave your eyebrows alone.   Here's how much men care about your eyebrows: do you have two of them?   Okay, we're done.   6) There's no such thing as flavored water, but there's a whole aisle of it at the supermarket, water ... but without that watery taste.   Sorry, but flavored water is called a soft drink.   You want flavored water?   Pour scotch over ice and let it melt.   7) Stop messing with old people.   Target introduced a redesigned pill bottle that's square with a bigger label.   The top is now the bottom.   By the time gramps figures out how to open it, he'll be in the morgue.   Congratulations, Target, you just solved the Social Security crisis.
